A fundraiser among family and friends is first set up by a compassionate acquaintance who becomes the "fund manager" of the project. The manager sets up brief info including a target amount (which are all flexible to be adjusted later) and gets a private share link that can be shared with relatives and friends.
Family and friends pledge monthly support
The fund manager shares the private page to relatives and friends who pledge their monthly support. All financials are handled by Stripe and Monly won't touch any of the information. The beneficiary can start receiving it right away from the first donation, or wait until a target is met.
Monthly checkups and reports keep everyone connected
To maintain the fund and caregiving, a small portion of the fund goes to maintenance—including the fund manager getting 5% of the fund which they can use to buy gifts or keep for themselves to motivate monthly checkups of the beneficiary and reports to all relatives and friends. This ensures consistent care and communication.
